
![]() The Group toured the innards of the renovated state prison to learn more about what opportunities existed for aspiring artists. ![]() The state prison was turned into an artist colony with the help of several grants issued by the state. ![]() The Armory Arts Village's main goal is to support thriving artists by supplying them with affordable housing, gallery and work space, and a creative, innovating environment. ![]() The DCG toured the facilities open minded with little detail going unnoticed. Many grew fascinated with luscious history and modern settings. ![]() The tour was led by Jane Robinson, the Director of Creative Industries and an artist herself. ![]() The DCG was thoroughly impressed with the armory and some individuals even considered moving in to pursue a creative career. ![]() The day ended with a collection of hilarious skits performed by DeWitt High School's very own Improv group on the Armory's main performing arts stage.
